The Agroforum Resilient: four challenges to feed the future brought together nine experts from the national agri-food sector and a hundred participants from the business, academic, student, research, entrepreneurial and social spheres who participated in this working and networking day organised by Jovesólides in the framework of the European project InnovAgroWoMed.
Jovesólides has received the 'award for the elderly-friendly organisation', granted by the City Council of Valencia, in recognition of its trajectory in digital inclusion and active ageing. The city mayor and deputy mayoress presented the award during the inauguration of the 39th Senior Citizens' Week in a solemn ceremony in the City Hall's Crystal Room.
On the occasion of the 1st Congress against Islamophobia in the Valencian Community, Jovesólides interviews activist Mohamed Saïd Badaoui, who is being held at the Barcelona Immigration Detention Centre (CIE Zona Franca) while awaiting the resolution of the deportation order to Morocco issued by the Ministry of the Interior, which accuses him of radicalisation and of being a danger to national security based on a report by the National Police which, according to him, "does not include any evidence".
The Chair of Sports Studies of the Technical University of Valencia awarded the Sport and Citizenship 2022 Prize to the Nala socio-educational improvement project, aimed at children and adolescents in the La Coma neighbourhood of Paterna, in recognition of its social innovation through sports practice.
The organisers of the only Congress against Islamophobia in Spain, which will be held in November with Badaoui's participation, are calling for his deportation order to be halted.
