Jovesólides is strengthening its care service and accompaniment of the elderly with a permanent opening of the volunteer programme to be developed in Valencia by 2023. The basic aim of the voluntary action is to alleviate the negative effects of involuntary loneliness, which in Spain affects 21% of the population over 65 years of age.
Jovesólides has received a big number of public recognitions in the form or prizes and distinctions awarded by various institutions since 2022, which consolidates the organisation as a benchmark of innovation and social action in the Valencian Community.
For the first time, Valencian parties address specific measures on migration in a policy debate launched by the Citizenship School five months before the election campaign. 15% of the Valencian population is of foreign origin, not counting naturalised or undocumented immigrants.
