Valencia has hosted the sixth transnational meeting of the European team of the project My decision, my job, my future (Job4Future), where Turkey, Slovakia, Poland and Spain work together to promote youth employability in Europe. Held between 17 and 22 October, this is the second meeting organised by Jovesólides as a Spanish partner, which has implemented its social innovation and inclusion methodologies so that each country can put them into practice. On this occasion, participants had the opportunity to improve their communication skills and competences.
The aim is to teach young participants how to develop their digital skills in order to improve their employability in the labour market. The sessions held in Valencia focused on high-value content such as strategic job search, interview preparation and CV preparation; techniques for public speaking and more effective writing; the use of technological tools required in the business world; and institutional culture and corporate value and ethical behaviour in the organisation.
The last working day was devoted to preparing the next international meeting, which will be held in Turkey in December before the end of the project.
My decision, my job, my future (Job4Future) is a project funded by the European Union with the aim of boosting youth employment, approved by the European Commission as an ERASMUS+ strategic partnership project.
