Faced with the increase of discrimination and hatred in society, three entities: Cazalla Intercultural, the Al Fanar Foundation and Jovesólides, present the manual 'Coco: recipes for education against daily hatred'. The main objective is to create a national awareness-raising strategy to work collectively against racism, Islamophobia, xenophobia...
The recipes contained in the pages of this manual are aimed at professionals in the youth field. The work, carried out within the framework of the COCO project, brings together successful experiences in education and action against hatred in Spain. The ultimate goal is to 'advocate for legislative improvements against any type of discrimination and hate speech at the national level.'
The three organizations that have worked together in the creation of the manual, identify the collected material as a tool to increase the knowledge of the younger collective about hate speech, to promote their activism and to encourage the exchange of reflections, ideas, good practices... Because other alternatives are possible.
