E-Inclusion

With Espai we promote intercultural coexistence and the reinforcement of personal and collective identity. We do this through ICT and diverse innovative methodologies which allow such learning.

How are we working on this project?

Through courses on diverse themes, taught through technology: a job search course, digital literacy, English, energetic agent, and web programming. We have also worked on the objectives mentioned through holding various workshops in La Coma neighbourhood, aimed at promoting awareness and dialogue within the community.

Mayores Movilizados (Mobilised Elderly) is a programme aimed at overcoming the digital gap and favouring the social inclusion of elderly people. In addition, Jovesólides promotes intergenerationality and elderly people socialising.

How are we working on this project?

Through the development of courses related to mobile phones and tablets, aimed at over-50s. Through accompaniment and motivation, the group is introduced to Internet use, thus encouraging their digital inclusion.

Kumpania is a specialised and individualised social service aimed at Gypsy children and adolescents, as well as their social and family environment, to improve their socio-educational situation. The main objective of the program is that participating children graduate from Obligatory Secondary Education, thereby promoting the continuation of post-obligatory studies.

How are we working on this project?

Through educational reinforcement with an attractive programme of activities for minors. This comes hand in hand with dynamics that promote knowledge and behaviour that promote coexistence. The socio-educational action focuses on the development of work and effort skills, a fundamental basis for performing schoolwork and creating an environment of respect. Work is also being done to consolidate La Coma's network participation of educational resources.

Internet Segura (Safe Internet) is a programme through which we encourage healthy digital education of minors and families on social media and the Internet. We do this through creative techniques which stimulate dialogue and security for using the Internet.

How are we working on this project?

Through directly raising awareness in classrooms. We carry out workshops in which we highlight information and communication. A total of eleven educational centers from four municipalities in the province of Valencia participated in the latest edition.

Red Próxima is a project with which we work to encourage social and cultural integration of migrants in the Valencian Community. All this through networking with the Inter-Community Cooperation Association (ICCA) and the Espai Obert El Marítim (EOM) Association.

How are we working on this project?

Through three workshops in which assistants were informed about the Renta Valenciana Inclusion social benefit. Through various courses developed through three social organisations, aimed at training the participants in terms of health, ICT skills and in positive intercultural management too.

With the project ´Para TIC También´, we encourage social and labour inclusion of a new generation of web programmers. We are committed to bettering the social inclusion of people in vulnerable situations in Valencia. We do this through training them in one of the future professions.

How are we working on this project?

Through specialised web-coding training. This intervention has been carried out with training and empowerment initiatives, aimed at enhancing the skills of the participants and thus enabling their insertion into the labour force. Special accompaniment has also been provided, through personal and group coaching.

La Ruta is a programe of career paths with which Jovesólides promotes the employability of people at risk, or social exclusion, from social innovation. With The Route, the organisation promotes learning social and technical skills, as well as those for personal empowerment. This project is possible thanks to the collaboration of the Council of Equality and Inclusive Politics of the Valencian Community and the European Social Fund.

How are we working on this project?

From criteria linked to social innovation, such as creativity, impact measurement or cooperation. We also offer participants an individualised coaching service whose principal objective is to develop each person's professional profile.

We described the European Volunteering Service to teenagers and we involved them in field work to encourage social inclusion of everyone. Over the course of a year, programme participants lived a unique learning experience and worked on a social project.

How are we working on this project?

Through welcoming four teenagers from three countries: Italy, Morocco and Egypt. Through sending five teenagers to Greece, Romania, Lithuania and Italy too. At Jovesólides, the teenagers furthered their volunteering, participating in a directly in one of the main E-Inclusion projects, Espai la Coma.
