On the last friday, the second annual edition of the Espai Awards took place at the traditional new year’s party. Awards tlod recognize the effort of the neighbours to learn, form and enjoy with the technologies. This day was also meeting point of social entities and authorities of public administration.
The entity released these awards a year ago, and the goal is to serve to applaud to people who surpass themselves.
This year the awared person have been: Serandu Ceesay, award to the most passionated neighbour for ITC; Zara Jlilat, award to most participated neighbour; María Torres, award to most creative neighbour’; and Albeida Álvarez, award to most constant neighbour.
More than 200 people have trained in recent months insearch of employment, basic english, digital literacy or web programming among other courses held at Espai. In addition, 20 people have received individual and collective coaching services. The ultimate goal: encourage the motivation of participants and promote their employability.
The Espai project is possible thanks to the financial support of several institutions. This year, it has the support provided by the City Council of Paterna and the financing of the Equality and Inclusive Policy Bureau within the framework of the general interest aid to attend social purposes with a charge of 0.7% of IRPF, in the Valencian Community.
