Next Friday, June 10, Rita Bosaho, Director General for Equal Treatment and Ethnic-Racial Diversity, will present at the Bancaja Foundation in Valencia the promotion of anti-racist policies of the Ministry of Equality.
At the event, held in the framework of the European project 'COCO: Against Everyday Hate', the organizations Cazalla Intercultural, the Jovesólides Association, and the Al Fanar Foundation will present 'The 8 measures against everyday hate', a document born from the collective work carried out at the Forum 'Youth against everyday hate', which took place last March in Madrid. The event brought together almost a hundred young people from all over Spain who spent two days reflecting, discussing and reaching consensus with political, social and academic actors on measures for social change.
With the presentation of these measures and the launch of a nationwide awareness campaign, the collaborative project 'COCO: Against Everyday Hate', which is financially supported by the European Union, comes to an end. The ultimate goal: to continue working, from the networks generated and resources created, against racism and hate speech online and offline.
This conference is aimed at social, political and academic actors. Also to activists and professionals in the communications sector. To attend the event it is necessary to fill out this form before June 7.
To follow all the news of the project, funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship (REC) program of the European Union, you can follow the hashtag #ContraElRacismoCotidiano on social networks.
