In an effort to make global citizenship education more accessible and inclusive, Jovesólides organizes an international meeting in Valencia. This event brings together 12 young people and educators from Spain, France and Hungary not only to exchange experiences related to the environment, but also to contribute to the design of educational tools on climate change. This initiative, framed within the European ACCESS project, seeks to transform global education, making it more attractive and inclusive for young people from diverse backgrounds and abilities, especially those with fewer opportunities.
The European ACCESS project, a result of collaboration between Jovesólides from Spain, Le Partenariat from France, and Anthropolis from Hungary, has the main objective of facilitating access for young people with fewer opportunities to international mobility experiences and global citizenship education. The diversity of participants, including young people with functional diversity, from the protection system and disadvantaged neighborhoods, as well as the methodologies used, are key to the success of the initiative. This diversity enriches cultural exchange and provides unique perspectives to adjust educational approaches in a more inclusive way, being for many their first experience in an international project.

One of the most interesting tools developed at the meeting is an educational ludic resource on climate change in the form of a board game. This resource not only seeks to teach but also to be inclusive and attractive to youth, using gamification techniques to address the topic in an enjoyable and fun way. The methodology used in its design reflects the integrative approach of the European ACCESS project, with the participation of young people in all stages of the process, contributing their valuable perspectives and ensuring its relevance to the target audience.
Based on a board that represents a world map, the board game takes participants on an educational journey that begins in Valencia, passes through the six continents and the three oceans, forming a circle back to Europe. During the meeting, young people have the opportunity to try it out and provide feedback for its improvement.
The final message addresses crucial issues for reflection, such as global cooperation, consumerism, social justice, renewable energies, and the importance of education and action. This educational tool, which will soon be available for distribution, promises to be an important resource for raising awareness about climate change, presenting concepts in an attractive way for youth from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

The European ACCESS project stands out for its commitment to inclusion and diversity. The participants of the meeting in Valencia represent a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. This diversity is a central element of the project, whose main objective is to include young people with fewer opportunities in international mobility activities on global citizenship education. In fact, for many participants, the meeting in Valencia represents their first experience in an international project.
The meeting in Valencia not only serves as a platform for the development of new educational tools, but also has a significant impact on the environmental and global awareness of the participants. Throughout the event, an increase in awareness about environmental protection is observed and critical and solution-oriented thinking is encouraged. Additionally, the meeting provides a rich intercultural experience, where participants share their cultures, experiences, and learnings.
The European ACCESS project has a duration of 3 years. As the project progresses, it is expected that its impact will multiply, creating an increasingly wide network of empowered young people, as well as educators trained in inclusive methodologies for education. The European ACCESS project, promoted by Le Partenariat, Jovesólides and Anthropolis, is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
