Next Tuesday, June 16, Jovesólides organizes a day under the title: “Disruption in the agri-food sector sustainable scenarios after Covid-19 in the Med Region”. This event takes place within the framework of the European project InnovAgroWoMed, in which the association participates as a partner entity. The ultimate end of the day: to present the project and promote rural social innovation.
The event will bring together representatives of the ENI CBC Med Programme, representatives of the partners and actors in the agri-food sector: expert voices, organizations, agri-food unions, women entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs and journalists from the Euro-Mediterranean region.
Due to the current emergency situation, the event will be in online format. It will take place next Tuesday, June 16, 2020, 11:00 13:00 via the Zoom platform.
This event is held within the framework of the Eu-funded InnovAgroWoMed project through the ENI CBC Med Programme. It is implemented by: University of Rome, Tor Vergata, and the Cesie Centre for European Studies, both from Italy; the Association of Palestinian Women Entrepreneurs, Asala, Palestine, the Centre for Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR), Tunisia and Jovesólides, de España.
InnovAgroWoMed is aimed at stimulating women's participation in the labour market and fostering their entrepreneurial spirit, in particular those profiles that have no training or employment. All this, taking advantage of the potential of the agri-food sector, an industry closely linked to the cultural identity of the Mediterranean region. And an industry that has significant untapped potential in terms of innovation and growth in the Mediterranean.
