After the unpredictable summer, September arrived alongside with returning to routine and reopening of the Space La Coma. Its activities and courses are back, but with a different rhythm and with more strict application of all the hygiene and protection measures.
The residents of the neighbourhood can return to the Space to carry out the electronic procedures which they need, but they should book an appointment beforehand. The community continues to receive telematic and telephone appeals to receive information or resolve any doubts.
Since the telecentre opened its doors again, the service has been mainly focused on managing the Minimum Wage. This benefit is aimed at preventing the risk of poverty and social exclusion of people who live alone or are integrated in a cohabitation unit and lack basic economic resources to cover their basic needs.
The other most in-demand procedures requested by those who visit the Space La Coma are: understanding the operation of the digital signature, thus being able to carry out processes independently, requesting an appointment to renew the ID card, renewing the Employment Seeker Card, and obtaining the large family certificate.
Furthermore, the telecentre is a space for personal and professional training and development. Therefore, there are new courses at the Space La Coma, such as the Administrative Management course.
The Space La Coma project is possible thanks to the financial support of several institutions. This year, support was provided by the Paterna Local Government and funding from the Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies within the framework of assistance of general interest to address social aims, funded by the allocation of 0.7% of Personal Income Tax in the Valencian Community.
