Last Monday, June 2, the traditional end-of-course party held at Espai took place. A day organized by the association to celebrate the personal improvement of all the participants in the courses, share in community and celebrate that diversity and new technologies make us grow.
One more year the Espai La Coma adds positive data: more than 1900 attentions made in the last six months, and a total of 100 new people in the telecentre. Currently, it already has 940 registered people who use their facilities on a regular basis.
At the meeting, which brought together more than 80 people from the neighborhood of La Coma, among participants, entities, and neighbors, was also present Juanma Ramon Paúl, first deputy mayor of the municipality of Paterna. "I encourage everyone to continue weaving networks in the Jovesolides telecentre and to continue moving forward as a community."
During the day the courses, news and the last activities carried out were reviewed. In addition, there was time to listen to the testimonies of the neighbors who give life to the Espai every day.
From Jovesolides we continue to prove that the cocktail that combines new technologies, personal empowerment and community strengthening is successful. And this gratifying feeling accompanied the team during a very special day full of smiles and emotion where the most important thing, as always was to share. We also share with the little ones, for whom fun games were prepared during the lunch, anteroom and classic of summer vacations.
The Espai project is possible thanks to the financial support of several institutions. This year, it has the support provided by the City Council of Paterna and the financing of the Consellería de Igualtat i Polítiques Inclusives within the framework of the general interest aid to attend social purposes with a charge of 0.7% of IRPF, in the Comunitat Valenciana.
