Cartagena wants to strengthen its network of young entrepreneurs to fight youth unemployment in the department of Bolivar.
The city of Cartagena de Indias opens up to entrepreneurship and social innovation with the celebration of the I Forum 'Cartagena emprende y empodera', an initiative that will take place on 1 June in the Kalamary events room of the Hotel Corales de Indias and is organised by Jovesólides Spain, Jovesólides Colombia and Conviventia in the context of the cooperation project SOCIAL HUB.
This event, aimed at all micro-entrepreneurs in the Department of Bolivar, aims to create a network of synergies between young entrepreneurs and business leaders to create opportunities that promote the formalisation of businesses and develop strategies to achieve sustainability over time.
The forum also aims to strengthen the local innovation ecosystem by creating space for networking among the micro-entrepreneurs present and encouraging learning through the experiences of the various guests.
It should be noted that the event will present best practises in promoting business innovation and will mark the beginning of a series of coordinated actions between Spain and Colombia to share experiences and promote the promotion of social entrepreneurship as a strategy against youth unemployment.
