The Jovesólides e-Spai TIC Network continues to consolidate itself as a benchmark in the fight against the digital divide and the promotion of social inclusion. During 2024, the spaces located in La Coma (Paterna), Valencia and Elche have registered nearly 4,000 services, offering support and training to groups in vulnerable situations. This free service not only facilitates access to digital tools, but also improves job opportunities for participants, boosting their personal and professional development.
One of the key pillars of the Network is its training area, which has enabled more than 300 people to acquire new skills this year. In total, 36 courses have been given in areas such as digital literacy, active job search, advanced office automation, digital signature and customer service.
The active participation of women, who represent more than 60% of those trained, stands out. Likewise, the courses have had a significant cultural diversity, with participants from countries such as Spain, Colombia, Venezuela, Morocco and Equatorial Guinea, among others.
At the València headquarters, there has been a commitment to training innovations such as the Para TIC También course, focused on the application of artificial intelligence in the search for employment, in which only women have participated. Meanwhile, in Paterna and Elche, priority has been given to courses aimed at improving basic and labour skills, such as food handling and digital signature, covering the specific needs of the beneficiaries.
In addition to training, the e-Spai TIC Network has promoted the E-Convive area, which seeks to strengthen coexistence and social cohesion. Throughout 2024, 12 community days have been organised in Valencia, Paterna and Elche, bringing together more than 250 people in intercultural meeting spaces.
Outstanding events such as the Christmas Days, the Ramadan Festival, Roma Day and International Women’s Day, among others, have served to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. These activities have allowed people from different cultural backgrounds to share experiences and strengthen community ties.
With this work, the Jovesólides e-Spai ICT Network not only fights digital and labour exclusion, but also stands as a space for real opportunities, transforming lives through technology, training and intercultural coexistence.
The e-Spai TIC Network is funded by Paterna City Council and the First Vice-presidency and Regional Ministry of Social Services, Equality and Housing. You can follow all the news about the project with the hashtag #RedEspaiTIC on social networks.
