In a globalised world, migratory movements have become a daily phenomenon that reminds us of the richness and challenges of cultural diversity. The Erasmus+ project ‘INTEGRA – Migrants: different paths to integration’ seeks to transform these opportunities into concrete actions to improve the social inclusion of migrants.

Aiming to support local organisations in countries such as Poland, Italy, Spain and Denmark, the project fosters international collaboration and the creation of accessible educational resources through workshops. Integration is a two-way street. Both migrants and host communities need to be prepared to build an enriching and respectful coexistence.

Resources for the inclusion of citizens with a migrant background in Europe

The INTEGRA project has generated key tools to support the inclusion of migrants in new European communities. Among the most outstanding results is the publication ‘Migrants – Different Paths to Integration’, which offers effective practices and approaches to strengthen this process. In addition, the online course ‘Integration through Education’, designed for organisations, volunteers and community representatives working on social inclusion, has been developed.

Towards a more inclusive intercultural European society

In an era marked by global challenges, intercultural societies are not only a reality, but a necessity. The inclusion of migrants not only enriches host communities culturally, but also strengthens local communities, promoting coexistence based on empathy and collaboration.

The main goal of the project is to support local organisations in partner countries in their efforts to integrate migrants into the host community by improving the effectiveness of their activities through the exchange of knowledge on integration methods used by other organisations and the creation of an e-learning environment designed for both the host community and migrants.
