Next Thursday, April 8th, Jovesólides organises the closing of 'La Ventanilla Indiscreta' with a unique conference. The event will be a space for dialogue and to unveil the exhibition of the project.
The conference, which will take place in the complex La Petxina in Valencia, will be conducted by the journalist Pilar Almenar and will be presented with the participation of: Lourdes Mirón, president of Jovesólides and Toñi Serna, regional secretary of Cooperation and Democratic Quality.
Furthermore, the highlight of the event will be the meeting between Mohamed El Amrani, communicator and social entrepreneur and Laura Gimenos, deputy director of the programme Salvados (Produccines del Barrio). Together with the Valencian journalist, they will engage in a dialogue on 'Do social entities have an audience? New audiovisual narratives to provoke social change'.
On the day of the event it will also be possible to visit the exhibition 'La Ventanilla Indiscreta', with works by the Valencian illustrators: Laura Castelló and Belén Segarra.
‘La ventanilla indiscreta’ is an education for development project led by Jovesólides, and during its execution a total of six social experiments and six debate programmes have been carried out, aimed at analysing and deconstructing social reality. The ultimate goal: to generate a series of proposals, all of them aimed at achieving a citizenship more aware of social problems. Thus, the entity, with the participation and support of social entities, public administration and citizens, has worked on: gender equality, responsible consumption, decent work, gendered Islamophobia, and refuge for climatic reasons.
La Ventanilla indiscreta is a project funded by the Consellería de Responsabilitat Social, Participació i Cooperació de la Generalitat Valenciana. If you want to follow all the news on and activities of this programme, follow the hashtag #LaVentanillaIndiscreta on social media.
