Last week the first coordination meeting was held with which AsitiGames started, a project in which Jovesolides participates as a social entity. The main objective is to configure the common places of the cities as spaces of coexistence and peaceful coexistence. In times of growing radicalism in Europe this project seeks to curb extremism through gamification.
This first meeting between the participating entities was focused on getting to know the structure of the project, as well as the responsibilities of each of the participating partner entities.
Specifically, Jovesolides will work on the training process of young people from each country, youth workers, so that collaboratively design the urban games methodology. The ultimate goal is for each country to develop a part of the training package.
In this way, from the gamification will be addressed: the prevention of extremist actions in youth; the exchange of good practices that foster interreligious dialogue; provide peaceful collaborative experiences among young people from different countries; generate a European network based on the construction of peace, positive communication, and coexistence; as well as promoting social inclusion practices.
The project involves social entities from four countries: Aps Creativi 108, from Italy, which leads the project, Conversas Associacao Internacional (CAI), from Portugal, Fundacja Laboratorium Zmiany, from Poland, and Jovesolides, from Spain.
